"Founded in 2001, Taiyo Co., Ltd. is part of the Japan Taiyo Group, which also includes Taiyo Corporation, Taiyo Social Welfare Corporation, and Taiyo Medical Corporation. Guided by Chairman Masahiro Ando, an architect who believes that elderly care should be designed from the perspective of “living spaces,” the group has established a network of senior care facilities in Yamagata and Miyagi prefectures since 2001. These include nursing homes, day care centers, small-scale multifunctional senior housing with care services, and home medical care, totaling 20 facilities.
In 2020, as the group celebrated its 20th anniversary, it successfully entered the Taiwan market. Looking ahead, Japan Taiyo Group aims to expand its long-term care services across Southeast Asia and worldwide.
