Dr. Yin Haozhang, founder of Roots Biomedical Co., Ltd., brings together over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology industry and the expertise of his team to integrate theoretical evidence from industry, government, and academia for practical application. All previously medical-related products and services have been consolidated into the company, focusing entirely on medical product services. Professor Wang Shengshi has been appointed Chief Scientific Officer, Mr. Kanno Toshio as Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Dai Ruiming as Chief Strategy Officer to jointly oversee the company's growth and product development.
The company's core focus is "antibiotic-free microbial infection control," which is effective and environmentally friendly for difficult and antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. Currently, the company offers the following online services:
1. Dental treatment water infection control solutions, including waterline disinfection services and sterile water equipment rental.
2. General medical device disinfectant sales.
3. Space disinfection services, such as laboratory disinfection, negative pressure isolation ward disinfection, pharmacy rooms, ophthalmic laser operating rooms, libraries, treatment rooms, and waiting rooms.
4. Legionella disinfection treatment for waterlines and pipes in medical institutions. The following products are also under development:
1. A Class I "Mucocutaneous Wound Cleanser."
2. A Class II "Mucocutaneous Wound Debridement and Disinfectant." Both have passed cytotoxicity and biocompatibility testing. The former is expected to obtain licenses between September and October of this year, and the latter between March and April of next year (2026). A case study will be published by the end of 2025. The initial goal after launch is to achieve a sales volume of 20,000 bottles per day.
Going forward, we will deepen collaborations and conduct IRB clinical trials with the National Taiwan University College of Stomatology, the Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital's Center for Geriatric Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University, the Chi Mei Emergency Department in Liuying, and Mackay Memorial Hospital, to continue researching, developing, and applying these products. |
